Mrs. Faye Strickland of Philview Camp, 39-year old mother of six, died in a Houston hospital Monday morning following a lingering illness.
She had been a resident of the area for the past ten years, and was a member of the Bunavista Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband, S.D. Strickland; two daughters, Edith and Linda Strickland; four sons, Charles, Jerry, Don and Larry Strickland.
Funeral services are planned at 2 p.m. tomorrow afternoon at the Bunavista Church of Christ with minister Dow Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the local cemetery.
The body is expected to arrive here tonight from Houston.
