Funeral for Mrs. Lois J. Sublett, 77, of 430 Coble, a resident of Borger since 1926 who died Friday at North Plains Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Faith Covenant Church.
The Rev. Steve Carpenter, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton Mortuary.
Mrs. Sublett taught school in Borger from 1937 until her retirement in 1963. She was past president of the Borger Classroom Teachers Association, and had served on the state textbook committee for a number of years and was a senior high Sunday School teacher.
Mrs. Sublett was a charter member of the Faith Covenant Church and was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma sorority.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Minnie McNeely of Borger.
The family has requested that memorials may be made to the building fund of Faith Covenant Church, the American Cancer Society or to a charitable organization of your choice.
Pallbearers will be Charles Smith, James Birtwell, Dr. Will Graham, Edgar Allen, Paul Simpson and Paul Husen.
