FRITCH - B.E. Tate, 64, died Sunday August 31, 1997, in his home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 1997, at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Norman Shuman, pastor of Abundant Life Fellowship, officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of Borger Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Jefferson County, Mo., he had been a Fritch area resident for 34 years.
He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mr. Tate married Martha Martin on January 24, 1951, in Borger.
Survivors include his wife, Martha, of the home; two sons, B.E. Tate, Jr., and James R. Tate, both of Fritch; three brothers, Jimmie E. Tate of Borger, Elijah Tate, Jr., and William Tate, both of Stinnett; a sister, Kan Tollison of Pueblo, Colo.; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

On November 30,2020, Martha Tate passed away in Borger.
She was born May 12, 1932 at Anson, Texas to Roy Carson and Bessie (Lantrip) Martin. On 1951, Martha Martin and Beauna Tate were married in Borger, Texas. Martha was employed in the housekeeping department at the hospital.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Beauna Elbert Tate, Sr.; her parents and a sister, Carolyn Sue Bennett.
Left behind to cherish her memory are 2 sons: Beauna Elbert Tate, Jr. of Fritch and James Roy Tate and wife Diana of Fritch; a brother, Don Martin and wife Diane of Borger; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger.
Masks and social distancing will be appreciated.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Fritch.
