*Obituary
Mrs. Ida Tietz, 81, of 5 Perkins in Phillips, died Wednesday night in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
Services are pending with Simpson's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tietz had lived in Phillips since 1929 and was a member of the Christian Church, V.F.W. Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Rev. Gordon Tietz of Alvarado and Donald L. Tietz of San Antonio; one daughter, Mrs. Myrna Gamble of Kenai, Alaska; one brother, Henry Babb of Castroville, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Jones of Leisure Lodge and Mrs. Anna Lynch of Webb City, Mo.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
