WICHITA FALLS - Alma Lee "Tunnell" Tinnin, 87, died Friday, October 17, 1997, in a local nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 20, 1997, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 1997, in Borger at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Owens-Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A native of Electra, she had been a Wichita Falls resident for 30 years. She had also been a Borger resident. She was a retired telephone operator.

Mrs. Tinnin was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She married John Tinnin in 1928 in Electra. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973.

Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Smith of Wichita Falls; a brother, Bill Tunnell of Bedford; three sisters, Ruth Burns and Nell Thomas, both of Pampa and Meta Graves of Electra; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
