Essie Eugene Curtis was born in 1891 in San Augustin County, Texas to Seymour Eugene Curtis and Elizabeth "Bessie" Turner Curtis.
Sister of Florence Hulda Curtis Ashworth and Seymour Eugene Curtis.
She is the wife of R.B. Cheatham.
Mrs. Cheatham died in 1965 at the age of 73 in San Jacinto County, Texas.
