Elvira Hallmark Tacker, 95, passed away on July 8, 2020.

Elvira born to Clifford Hallmark and Minnie Lee Cargill Hallmark on September 7, 1924, in Crockett, Texas.

She graduated from Milby High School in 1941. She was a member of South Main Baptist Church, Pasadena, Texas.

Elvira worked as a hairstylist for many years, owned an equipment rental business in Houston, Texas, in the 70's. She also worked at Lansdowne Moody Company until retirement.

She was a resident of Baywood Crossing in Pasadena, Texas, since September 2017 due to health issues.

Elvira is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin L. Tacker, daughters, Suzanne Reber Fox, Kathy Leigh Reber, sister Dorothy Hallmark Olsteen Talamas, and brother, Stanley Hallmark.

Elvira is survived by granddaughters, Leslie Marie Lopez (Gary D. Lopez) of Pasadena, Texas, Leigh D'ann Fox of Houston, Texas, great granddaughters, Alyssa Leigh Flores of Webster, Texas, Cynthia Ann Ortiz Johnson (William Johnson), great great grandsons, Caperton Johnson, Spencer Johnson of Lake Worth, Florida, great grandson, Roy Flores (Michelle Flores), great great granddaughter, Logan Flores of Stafford, Texas, niece, Linda Osteen Olivares (Eino Robert Olivares) of Pasadena, Texas, and sister in law, Linda Hallmark of Pearland, Texas.
