Mary Josephine "Mary Jo" Johnson was born on March 17, 1917 in Spur, Dickens County, Texas to Dowell Budington Johnson and Josephine Gibbs Spiller Sloan.
Mary Jo is the sister of Helen Frances Johnson Carrington Secord.
She married Richard Walter Fisher in 1942 in Travis County, Texas. They are the parents of Richard Walter Fisher Jr.
Mrs. Fisher died on November 4, 2003 in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas at the age of 86. She preceded her husband in death by 8 years. They are buried together at Oakwood Cemetery in Travis County, Texas.
