Funeral services for D.W. Troy, 52, will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Hamilton, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of the Minton Funeral Home.
Troy, a resident of Borger for the past 13 years, died Friday morning at North Plains hospital after suffering a heart attack. Survivors include his wife, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. John Barney Andress of Waco; and two sisters, Mrs. Fred McWhorter of Fritch and Mrs. Ray Parker of La Habra, California.
Pallbearers will be Estel Holt, Jim Cope, John Luttrell, Doc Maggart, H.L. Whittaker of Amarillo and Orville Heiskel of Pampa.

PANHANDLE - Gladys I. Troy, 86, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1993 in St. Ann's Nursing Home in Panhandle.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger with the Rev. Archie Echols, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of May, she was a long time resident of Borger. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dana Wilson Troy, Jr., and her husband, Dana Troy.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat Andress of Borger; a brother, ? Smith of Matador; a sister, ? McGuire of Rochester; and 3 grandsons.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Ann's Nursing Home, Box 1179, Panhandle, Texas, 79068.
