Fritch - Martha L. Vinson, 58, died Tuesday in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Alexander Chapel of Memories with Rev. John Denton, associate pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Borger.

Mrs. Vinson was born in Garber, Okla. she moved to Amarillo in 1950 and moved to Fritch 18 years ago. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. She was a charge nurse at Northwest Texas Hospital and also worked for Dr. Goldston for several years. She was later a nurse for Amarillo Independent School District 10 years. The past 10 years she helped her husband in Vinson Development. She married Herman Vinson in 1947 at Wellington, Kan.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, LaVaun Phorp [sic] of Garber, Okla.; and a sister, Verna Shields of Lawton, Okla.

Pallbearers will be David Anderson, Kevin Audrain, Larry Collins, Jack Henson, Jack Stallings, and Aubrey Tisdale.
