Billie Jean Wagner, 75, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014.

Funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, July 12, 2014 in the Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery. Ms. Wagner will lie in state at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers, her memory may be honored with gift to the Salvation Army or the Red Cross.

Billie was born May 2, 1939 in Amarillo, Texas to Jimmy and Clara Boyd. She was a longtime employee of Sanford Fritch Independent School District. Billie was an extremely generous person who gave freely to the Salvation Army and helped many families have a Christmas when otherwise they couldn't. During the Fritch tornadoes Billie enjoyed volunteering with the Red Cross. Nothing put more joy in her heart then spending time with her grandkids and watching old movies.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Boyd, Richard Boyd; and sister, Shirley Boyd.

Survivors include her son, Denver Carter and wife, Jana of Newalla, Oklahoma; daughters, Deana Blakely and husband, Gary of Fritch, Darla Wagner of Fritch, Dala Rice and husband, Greg of Spokane, Washington; brother, Nick Kott and wife, Donna of Washington; sister, Sally Thomas husband, Jim of Jacksonville, Florida; twelve grandchildren, Cody Blakely, Aaron Blakely and wife, Samantha, Jonathan Blakely, Ryan Blakely, Carson Blakely, Jacob Cosper, Jada Rice, Even Rice, Logan Rice, Jason Pinion, Jeff Pinion, Deidra Carter; three great grandchildren, Jaylee, Brianna and Alexander.
