Services for Howard Zello, 69, of 1005 Harrison, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jeff Moore of Dallas, officiating. Assisting will be the Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Zello died at 12:25 a.m. Thursday in North Plains Hospital.
A native of Prosper, Mr. Zello had been a Borger resident for 44 years.
Mr. Zello was a retired owner for Zello's Meat Market. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he was a trustee and deacon.
Survivors are his wife, Mary; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Dumas of Borger; two brothers, R.K. Zello of Dallas; Henry West of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Bea Fielding of Dallas; and Mrs. Arvada Dale of Dallas; and five grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center, P.O. Box 2569, Amarillo, TX, 79101, or to the Tri-City Youth Football program.
The family will be staying at 219 McCarthy.
