Funeral services for Jacob Friesen, age 39 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Pastor Isaak Fehr officiating and Pastor Abe Buhler assisting. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Friesen was born July 15, 1982 in Seminole, Texas to Aganetha (Dyck) and Cornelio Friesen. He was a member of Sommerfeld Mennonite Church and enjoyed going on retreats and learning more about Jesus. He liked collecting tools and tractors; his favorite thing to do was going out to eat, trying new restaurants with his family. He loved being around people.

Jacob Friesen passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home in Seminole. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Cornelio and Aganetha Friesen of Seminole; three brothers, Abe Friesen and wife Tina, Deni Friesen and wife Nancy, and Pete Friesen and wife Tina, all of Seminole; four sisters, Mary Neufeld and husband Henry, Nadie Wall and husband Peter, Margie Banman and husband David, all of Seminole, and Trudy Enns and husband Ben of Seagraves, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
