George Berry Anderson, 60, died Saturday at North Plains Hospital.

Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11 at Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating. Burial was at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Wheeler Cemetery by Simpson Funeral Home.

Mr. Anderson, of Fritch, was a retired custodian of Sanford-Fritch Independent School District. He had been a Fritch resident 21 years, moving there from Wheeler.

He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include the widow, Aleene, a son, Gaylon of the home, three daughters, Mrs. Charles Brittain and Miss Sandra Anderson, both of Fritch, and Mrs. Johnny Miley of Wheeler, two brothers, Albert of Wheeler and Gene of Miami, Tex., two sisters, Mrs. Ester Shinn of Albuquerque and Mrs. C.C. Baird of Wheeler; and five grandchildren.

FRITCH - Aleene May Anderson, 87, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Keeler Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Anderson, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Wheeler Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Viewing will be at the funeral home.

Mrs. Anderson was born on Sept. 13, 1918, to Earl and Lou Miller in Wheeler. She was a retired cafeteria cook for Sanford/Fritch ISD for 35 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Anderson and Twila Brittain, both of Amarillo, and Nelda Miley of Borger; a sister, Katie Summers of Elk City, Okla.; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 102 Brierwood, Number 103, in Borger or 4114 Tucson Drive in Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to Heritage Convalescent Center, 1009 Clyde St., Amarillo, TX 79106.
