*Obituary
WHEELER - Henry Plese Barnes, 75, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Wheeler Cemetery with the Rev. Stanley Baker of Northside Baptist Church in Lawton, Okla., officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Barnes was born Oct. 14, 1932, in Washington, Ark., to Ernest and Myrtle Barnes. He married Vera Moore in 1985 in Clovis, N.M.
Survivors include a sister, Jewel Fraser of Ashdown, Ark.; five stepchildren, Leon Moore of Farmington, N.M., Darrell Moore of Amarillo, Connie Baker of Cache, Okla., and Charles Moore and Shirley Jolly, both of Wheeler: and many stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Odyssey Healthcare, 6900 W. Interstate 40, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.
