Services for Mrs. Zelma Rosetta Barr, 76, who died Wednesday, August 10, 1977, were held at 2:30 P.M. Friday, August 12, 1977, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Campbell, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barr had been a resident of Wheeler County most of her life and married J.W. Barr, April 18, 1926 at Wheeler. She was Baptist.

Survivors include her widower, John; three sons, Johnnie of Burleson, Texas, Nathan of Panama City, Florida, and Reggie of Crossplains, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Powers of Austin, and Mrs. Margie Brakefield of Fort Worth; 2 sisters, Jackie Rogers of Abilene and Mrs. Mary Cook of Slatton; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Pall Bearers were Percy Farmer, W.A. Goad, Fred Goad, Adrian Risner, Dorman Thomas, and Doyce Watson.
