Talitha Jane Chittum, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother,70, of Baird died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in an Abilene hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Bible Baptist Church of Clyde with Pastor Larry Hooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Belle Plain Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Jane was born December 16, 1947 in Monahans to Kenneth and Freda (Young) Wofford.

She moved from Monahans to Abilene in 1960 and graduated from Abilene High School.

She married Bobby Lee Chittum in Baird on October 10, 1966.

She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by her mother Freda Colleen Allen of Baird; her husband of 52 years, Bobby Lee Chittum; son Bobby Don Chittum and wife Nora Ann of Baird; three daughters, Lisa Ann Starr and husband Tim of Houston, Michelle Annette Endy and husband Chris Scott of North Port, Florida and Teresa Jane Wright of Baird; two sisters, Gloria Fields of Atlanta, Georgia and Joann Aust and husband John of Baird; sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren plus four on the way.

Jane was preceded in death by her father and her son Johnson Chittum.
