Services for Mrs. Ara Jewel Crowder, age 64, were Friday June 4, 1976, at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Wheeler. Rev. David Campbell and Rev. Ernie McGaughey officiated. The burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery.
Survivors include the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Loretta Clay of Shamrock; one brother, H.H. Herd of Pampa; one sister, Miss Bessie Herd of Wheeler; and four grandchildren.
The Pallbearers were C.B. Brotherton, Jr., Bill Hampton, Olen Maxwell, Larry Hampton, Tommy Hyatt, and Steve Hampton.
