Daughter of Enos Herman Short and Freda Mae Black. She was born in West Virginia.
Sister of Herman Black Short.
Wife of John Wilson Matthews; Mother of Wilson Lynn Matthews.
Mrs. Matthews died in Houston, Texas at the age of 51.
