There on April 10, 1895, she married Acel Newman Harris near the town of Datil. They spent the rest of their lives in the three states of New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. About 12 years they lived in the vicinity of Wheeler.

Also surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. W.J. Shanks of Big Springs and Mrs. Betty Turner of Prescott, Ariz. She leaves 21 grand children and 27 great grandchildren.

At her death she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Pampa.

She had been in bad health for several years and seriously ill several months, staying alternately with two daughters at their homes at Pampa and Wheeler respectively.

Last Wednesday she was taken to the Highland General hospital at Pampa where she passed away at 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, two days after undergoing an operation. She had lived to the age of 78 years.
