Betty L. Martin, age 61, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 26th, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX. She was born on November 28th, 1951 in Paducah, TX to S. G (Billy) Richardson and Abigail Marcella (Johnson) Richardson She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and loved her church.

Betty loved her family very much but above all, she loved her Lord. She enjoyed spending her time gardening with her favorite flower being the Gladiola. She also enjoyed woodworking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and they were the love of her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include: one daughter: Kristy Ogden and husband Dewayne of Odessa; one son: Jeffrey Carpenter and wife Missy of Amarillo; one sister: Gail McEndree of Paducah; five brothers: Kenneth Richardson and wife Norma of Paducah, Rodney Richardson and wife Joan of Kemp, TX, Charles Richardson and wife Kathy of Malakoff, TX, Jimmy Richardson of Amarillo, Bobby Richardson and wife Rhonda of Paducah; Grandchildren: Carissa Pierce and husband Cory, Caden Lee, and Jessi Ogden, all of Odessa, Sean Carpenter and Madalynn Carpenter, both of Amarillo; one great grandchild: Xane Ogden of Odessa.

Those preceding her in death are: her husband; parents; and one sister: Billie Blanch Proctor
