Mrs. Clistie Leona Jones, 55, of 1013 Bonham, was dead on arrival at Northwest Texas Hospital at 2 a.m. today. She had lived in Amarillo six years, coming here from Abilene.
Mrs. Jones was born in Canute, Okla. Her husband, S. C., died in 1945. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Nelle Ashley of 1345 E. 5th, and sisters, Mrs. James T. Green of 2008 Van Buren, Mrs. D. E. Bates of 4110 E. 11th, Mrs. Jess Moore of Wheeler, Mrs. Jack Guynes of Borger and Mrs. Dan Thornberry of Claude.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Boxwell Bros. Funeral Directors.
