Services for Alton Meeks, 81, of Slaton will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday in Englunds Chapel with Jack Gordon, pastor of Westside Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service.
He died Saturday, Oct. 15, 1999, at the Slaton Care Center.
He was born may 17, 1918, in Slaton. He was a lifelong Slaton resident. He attended Slaton schools. He married Helen Wheatley on May 17, 1941, in Post. He was a cotton farmer before his retirement.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Carl of Slaton; a daughter, Margaret Sehon of Wolfforth; a brother, Robert C. of Slaton; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
