Frankie Karen Shipman was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She passed away surrounded by her loved ones on December 9, 2021 at age 80.
Karen was born September 24, 1941, in Mathis, TX to Frank Tennill and Mary Tennill. She enjoyed working as a telephone operator for 30 years before becoming a homemaker. Her and Bill were married on December 10th, 1960 and together they built a full, loving life for 61 years. They kept each other and the ones around them entertained with their jokes and cracks at each other. Karen loved spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking for family and friends. She sent her love with all her guests by making sure they left with everything they could need.
Loved ones include husband Bill Shipman, son Mike Shipman, and granddaughter Taylor and husband Ryder Nobile.
