Frances Allison, 91, of Amarillo died Monday, May 28, 2007.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Park Place Towers Parlor with Jerry Bell, chaplain of Baptist Community Services, officiating. Burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St.

Mrs. Allison was born May 22, 1916, in Chillicothe. She lived in Crosbyton, Alanreed and Lubbock before moving to Amarillo in 1981. She graduated from Littlefield High School. She worked for Southwestern Public Service in Littlefield and retired in 1981 as senior clerk.

She married Frank Allison in 1938 in Clovis, N.M. She and her husband owned and operated a Studebaker dealership in Levelland and farmed near Littlefield. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1968. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Brown and husband Cordell of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; a son, Don Allison and wife Kathie of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Bradley Brown, Kendall Brown, Melissa Root and Erin Cairns; and eight great-grandchildren, Katie Eller-Brown, Sam Brown, Kelsey Brown, Jaycee Anderson, Ashley Root, Nicole Root, J.T. Sharp and Devin Cairns.
