Graveside services for Glenda Joyce Bass, 65 of Seminole will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gaines County Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home. Viewing will be Friday, December 10, 2021 from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Glenda passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Tarrant County.
She was born September 26, 1956 to Kenneth and Joyce Morgan in Odessa. Glenda graduated from Seminole High School. She married Kenneth Bass September 25, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Glenda and her late husband Kenneth built and operated Bass Pecan Farms for 29 years; she continued after his passing. They enjoyed watching their many race horses through the years and fishing when time away from the farms allowed.
She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Morgan and her husband Kenneth Bass.
Glenda is survived by her daughter Joy Johnson of Gardendale; her mother Joyce Morgan of Longview; two brothers Kenneth Morgan of Longview and Wesley Morgan of Longview; two grandchildren Harper Johnson and Shelby Johnson and one greatgranddaughter Rose Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Seminole Volunteer Fire Department or lpffoundation.org.
