DELEON - Dorothy Mae Collum Ainsworth, 87, longtime resident of Odessa passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in DeLeon Nursing Home.
She was born August 9, 1928 in Genoa, Arkansas to Charlie & Georgia Collum.
She married W. C. Ainsworth February 23, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2009.
She retired from Ector County School District as a cafeteria employee after 10 years of service. She was a Baptist. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister & aunt.
Preceded in death by her parents, son, Hershel Ainsworth, sisters, Shirley Taylor & Mae Bell, brothers, Glen Collum, Cecil Aaron, & Curtis Aaron.
Survivors include daughters Gloria Hallmark of Kermit, Patsy Berry & husband Mike of Dublin, TX, sons, Charles Ainsworth & wife Brenda of DeLeon, TX, Bobby Ainsworth of Odessa, grandchildren, Kenneth, Kim, Toby, Brian, Tracy, Pam, Michael, Erica, Josh, Tanzy, & Bobby Lee, (14) great-grandchildren, (2) great-great-grandchildren, (2) sisters, Josie Snodgrass of Odessa, Mary Barnhill of Oklahoma City, brother, George Collum of Odessa, & numerous nieces & nephews.
