Lorenzo G. Aguilar, 60, of Colorado City died Dec. 22 near Roscoe.

Graveside services were Satur¬day, Dec. 26, at 11:30 a.m. at Mitchell County Cemetery with Rev. John Busch, pastor of St Ann’s Catholic Church, officiat¬ing. Arrangements were with Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Aguilar was born Sept 2, 1927 in Falfurrias. He was a laborer.

Survivors include his wife, Berta, four daughters, Ginny Martinez of Rowena, Linda Aguilar and Lori Ann Aguilar, both of Houston, and Mary Lou Aguilar of the home; three sons, Lorenzo Aguilar Jr. of Houston and Raynaldo Aguilar and Joe David Lee Aguilar, both of the home; a brother, Feliciano Aguilar Jr. of San Juan, Mexico; four grandchildren and one great-¬grandchild.

C O L O R A D O CITY - Mrs. Berta C . Aguilar, age 60, passed away on Tues¬day, February 10,2009, in Houston. Rosary was held on Thursday, February 12,at 7 p.m. and on Friday, February 13, at 10 a.m. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Mitchell County Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Berta was born on October 6, 1948 , to Joe Carreon and Encarnacion Compasano in Houston. She resided in Mitchell County for 15 years.

She leaves behind her sons, Lorenzo Aguilar Jr. of Houston, Rudolph Garzao of Colorado City, Fernando Aguilar, Raynado Aguilar, Joe Aguilar and David Lee Aguilar, all of Houston; daughters, Virginia Martinez of Ballinger, Linda A. Ibarra, Lara A. Carmona, Rafalia A. Saucedo and Mary Lou Morales, all of Houston, 47 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Oscar Ramirez of San Antonio.

She was preceded in.death by her husband, Lorenzo. G. Aguilar, her parents,four brothers an d one sister.
