COLORADO CITY ~~ Adam Ornelas Alvarez, 23, died Thursday when he slipped and fell into the cotton bale compress at the compress.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Alvarez was born in Colorado City April 8, 1943, and had lived here all his life. He was married May 5, 1961, to Nellie Torres. For the last six years he had been an employee of the compress. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marcelo Alvarez; three brothers, Abel, Jesse and Marcelo Alvarez; three sisters, Albina, Adelinda, and Elva Alvarez all of Colorado City.
