Mrs. Beatrice Alvidrez, 91, of Colorado City died Sunday, February 18, 2007, in a local hospital. Services were held Wednesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father George Varakukala officiating. Burial followed in the Mitchell County, Cemetery, under direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alvidrez was born November 22, 1915, in Zactecas, Mexico to Cruz and Maria Reyes Molina. She had been a resident of Mitchell County since 1930. She married Severo Alvidrez in 1931 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Anjelica Dominguez of Midland; a son, Tony Alvidrez of Colorado City; two brothers, Jesus Molina and Pasqual Molina, both of Colorado City; nine grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Juan Alvidrez.
