SUNDAY, MARCH 6, 1983
Madeline Briley, 66, died at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 in her home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5 in the Kiker- Seale Chapel with Robert Bracy of St. James Baptist Church and Rev. E. Shelton of Mt. Zion Baptist Church officiating.
Burial was in the Mitchell County Cemetery.
Born Madeline Haynes on November 11, 1916 in Colorado City, she married Lois Briley in November of 1952 in Plainview. She had lived all of her life in Colorado City and was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two nephews, Hubert Earl Jones of Houston and Tony Jones of Washington, DC.
