Balentine Carrizales, 61, of Colorado City died at 8 p.m. Thursday at Root
Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Services will be held at 10 a.m.
Monday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father John Busch of the church,
officiating.
Burial will follow at the Mitchell County Cemetery under the direction of the
Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Born Dec. 16, 1916, in San Antonio, he married Ramona Aguilar in 1937.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, Guadalupe of Lubbock; three daughters,
Mrs. Gloria Sosa and Mrs. Margaret Arriega both of Snyder, and Miss Lupe,
Carrizales of. Colorado City; two sons, Balintene Jr. of Colorado City and
Freddie of Abilene; one sister, Mrs. Marta DeLeon of Lubbock; six brothers,
Alfredo, Eulogio, Domingo, and Lupe all of Lubbock, Luis of Snyder and
Benito of Grand Prairie; 18 grandchildren.
