COLORADO CITY ~~ Benigno Godina, 74, retired farmer died in the hospital here Friday after and illness of a few weeks.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in St. Ann's Catholic Mission with the Reverend Thomas Quinlivan officiating. Burial will be in the Mitchell County Cemetery under the direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.

Benigno Godina was born in Mexico February 13, 1884 and he was married to Pietra Granada on November 2, 1905. They came to Mitchell County in 1932. He became a naturalized citizen of the United States.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Thomas Godina and Amelio Godina of Colorado City; one daughter, Mrs. Teresa Martinez of Colorado City. He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

COLORADO CITY ~~ Mrs. Petra Godina, 79, died Wednesday in Root Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Ann's Catholic Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Santiago Martinez of Colorado City; two sons, Thomas Godina and Emilio Godina, both of Colorado City; one sister, Mrs. Albenia Bruzo of Marathon; 11 grandchildren.
