Tommy Lynn Green, 49, of Colorado City, died Friday, November 24, 2006, in a local care center Services were held Tuesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Colorado City with Rev Terrilyn Faye Ross officiating. Burial followed in the Mitchell County Cemetery, under the direction of Wright Colonial Funeral Home in Snyder.
Mr. Green was born August 1, 1957 in Colorado City. He was a farmhand and a gin worker. He was also a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Colorado City.
Survivors include his son, Tommy Green Jr. of Abilene, three daughters, Jennifer Barriantes of Abilene, Kathy Green of Brownwood, and Keisha Cole of Dallas, six sisters, Florence Huff of
Abilene, Dovie Green of Colorado City, Elnora Ross of Colorado City, Judy Lynn Hawkins of Lubbock, Regina Lee Selmon of Snyder and Carolyn Stanford of Colorado City; three brothers, Travis Green of Colorado City, David Lee Green of Sweetwater and Johnny Lee Green of Colorado City; one grandson, Jeris Brown of Abilene; three granddaughters, Jada Brown and Naomi Brown of Abilene and Peyton Cole of Dallas.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
