Services for Leo Bails, 79, Friona, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at 10th Street Church of Christ, Friona. Leland Hutson of Canyon, Tecas, and Gerall Wyly of Friona will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Friona Cemetery. Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona is handling arrangements.
Bails died Wednesday at Parmer County Community Hospital in Friona. He was born Dec. 31, 1914, in Sullivan, Ohio.
He married Lottie May Hadley on Nov. 1, 1940, in Farwell. He was a member of the 10th Street Church of Christ and had lived in the Friona area since 1937 after moving from Ashland, Ohio. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Friona Antique Club, Eastern New Mexico Auto Club and the Pierce Arrow Society of America.
Survivors include his wife, Lottie May; one son, Kenneth Lee Bails, Friona; two daughters, Charlotte Marie tims, Texico, and Rebecca Mae Martin, House; one sister, Iren Sager, Toledo, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Prairie Acres Nursing Home or Parmer County Community Hospital.

FRIONA - Lottie Mae Bails, 85, died Sunday, April 13, 2008.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in 10th Street Church of Christ in Friona with Sherman Martin of House, N.M., and Gerall Wyly of Friona officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery by Blackwell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bails had been a Friona area resident for the past 83 years. She was born Oct. 26, 1922, to Albertis and Ida Cleo Cannon Hadley in Loco and married Leo Bails on Nov. 1, 1940, in Farwell.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Bails of Dimmitt; two daughters, Charlotte Tims of Texico, N.M., and Rebecca Martin of House, N.M.; four sisters, Margaret Hanson of Bryan, Betty Freeman of Hereford, and Carol Watson and Mary Shoemaker, both of Hico; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to 10th Street Church of Christ, Ron Smiley, 1401 W. Sixth St., Friona, TX 79035; or Prairie Acres, 201 E. 15th, Friona, TX 79035.
