FRIONA - Alva D. Winchester Hartman Bedgood, 78, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Sixth Street Church of Christ in Friona with Leon Talley officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Home of Hobbs, N.M.
Alva was born Oct. 19, 1931, in Fannin County to Alvin Carl and Fairrie Ellan Bellows Winchester. She worked as a clerk at a dry cleaners in Houston for more than 25 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Ellan Tones Paul of Katy; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials be to Bluebonnet Home Health Care and Hospice, 304 E. 11th St., Friona, TX 79035.
