*Obituary Lindra
Lindra Gutierrez, 80, Colorado City passed away at her home on Sunday, November 24, 2019 with her loving family by her side.

She was born on April 13, 1939 in Colorado City to Alejandro and Consuelo Garcia Rocha. Lindra was a home-body and family was everything. She took pride in being the best wife, mother, grandmother, and sister that she could be, but being a grandmother was her biggest sense of accomplishment. In her later years after her husband Jesus passed away she became very outspoken but she always kept that sense of humor her family grew to love. In her spare time she enjoyed visiting with her sisters and other family members catching up on how everyone was doing. She also enjoyed watching her Spanish soaps, and keeping her mind sharp by doing crosswords and other puzzle books. Her legacy for the love of family will be cherished by all that knew and loved her.

Lindra is survived by her children; Rachel Egbert of Colorado City, Oscar Martinez and wife Sandy of Colorado City, Evangelina Martinez of Sweetwater, Ezeqiel Gutierrez of Colorado City, Elias Gutierrez of Baytown, Gabriel Gutierrez and wife Rita of Colorado City, Amelia Gutierrez of Big Spring, Michelle Cabrera and husband Amando of Colorado City, Jesus Gutierrez Jr. and wife Elisha of Colorado City, and Israel Rusty Davila of Colorado City. She is also survived by her siblings Adelina Leal, Teresa Perez, Lori Vasquez, Rosa Luna, Charlie Rocha, Alex Rocha Jr, Alex Rocha, and Sammy Contreras, as well as by 28 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Jesus Gutierrez Sr, two sons Guadalupe “Flaco” Martinez and Israel “Ito” Davila, by brothers Frank Rocha, Cecil Contreras, and Doroteo Rocha, and by her sisters Jessie Aguilar, Trinidad Aguilar, Mary Valdez, Paula Silva, Consuelo Hernandez, Petra Aguilar, and Nancy Gutierrez.

A funeral for Lindra will be held on Wednesday, November 27th at 2pm at the First Baptist Church of Colorado City with Pastor Felix Silva of Iglesia Bautista El Calvario officiating, with burial to follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery. Pall-bearers are Gabriel Gutierrez, Brian Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Derrek Gutierrez, Brandon Cabrera, Ronald Aoyoma, and Anthony Gutierrez. The family will be present for a visitation on Tuesday, November 26th from 6-8 pm at the Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
