Ola B. Heflin, 91, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2004 at Colonial Manor I Nursing Home in Hollis, OK.
Ola Heflin was born February 21, 1913 near Hollis, OK to John B. and Julia E. (Roy) Robinson, the youngest of ten children.
She graduated from Gould High School.
In 1945 she married Dalton Williams who preceded her in death in 1947. She married Robert Heflin in 1963 and became a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at the same time. Robert passed away August 16, 1969.
Ola was a long time member of Dryden Baptist Church where she taught a ladies' Sunday School class for many years. She became a member of First Baptist Church, Hollis, in 1968. She was the church secretary for eighteen years. She was a member of the WMU, Quest Club and Harmon County Historical Society.
Ola is survived by two step-daughters, Maudie and her husband Jeff Meek of Costa Rica, Jo Woodman of Canyon, TX; two step-sons, Duane Heflin and his wife Frances of Costa Rica and J.O. Heflin and his wife Frances of Hollis, OK; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grand children, and seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ola was preceded in death by both husbands, Dalton Williams and Robert M. Heflin; her parents; seven brothers and two sisters; and one son-in-law, Gene Woodman.
