HEREFORD (Special) - Services for Lydia Bippus, 91, of the Bippus community are pending with Smith & Co. Funeral Home here.
Mrs. Bippus died at 3:15 a.m. today in Westgate Nursing Home in Hereford.
Born Dec. 4, 1885, in Artas, S.D., Mrs. Bippus moved to the Hereford area in 1910. She and her husband George, a farmer, established the Bippus community northwest of Hereford. Her husband died in 1955.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hereford.
She is survived by a son, Herb, of Hereford.
