*Obituary Ella
Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Boone, old-time Hereford resident, were conducted Wednesday afternoon, May 21, at 4 p.m. The services were held at Rose chapel, Gililland Funeral home. Rev. H.V. Fields, pastor of the Avenue Baptist church, and Roy Ford, pastor of the First Christian church, officiated at the rites.

Mrs. Boone died at her home on Tuesday, May 20, following a short illness.

The deceased was born on January 8, 1866 in Paris, Texas. She was married to J.M. Boone in Paris and they moved to Hereford in March 1906 from Whitesboro, Texas.

Mrs. Boone was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Leta Barnett, Wichita Falls and Mrs. Lillie Mae Earthman, Plainview; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Gordon of Greenville; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: James B. Barnett, P.L. Ferguson, Donald Barrow and David Treadaway.
