Nettie Viola Boyd, 94, formerly of Hereford, died Wednesday in Tucumcari, N.M.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Rix Funeral Chapel with Mark Brown, president of the Hereford Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery, by Rix Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Boyd was born in Palmer and came to Hereford in 1922 from Hollis, Okla. She married Robert Boyd on Nov. 26, 1927, in Hereford. He died in 1984. Mrs. Boyd was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Deaf Smith County Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors are two daughters, Mary Brown of San Jon, N.M., and Bobbie Adams of Corpus Christi; two sons, Ronnie Boyd of Corpus Christi and Frank of Houston; 32 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
