*Obituary Josephine
Mrs. Sarah Josephine Bridges, widow of the late R.C. Bridges, and for 33 years a resident of Hereford, died suddenly Sunday morning at her home here. She was stricken about 8:30 o'clock. A physician was called immediately, but death, due to heart failure, occurred before his arrival.
Mrs. Bridges came here with her husband from Cook county near Gainesville. She was a member of the Baptist church and of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was 76 years of age. She is survived by two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Katherine Ward, who made her home with Mrs. Bridges; Mrs. Ellie McDonald of Paris, and E.R. Williams of Decatur. All were present for the funeral.
The last rites were conducted from the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. R.N. Shepherd, pastor of the church, officiating. Ladies of the Easter [sic] Star were in charge at West Park Cemetery, where interment was made.
