Services For Adrian Man

Funeral services for Fred Brownlee, 86, were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Rose Chapel with L.E. Goowin and Don Travis, both of Amarillo, officiating.

Interment was in West Park Cemetery under direction of Gililland-Watson funeral Home.

Mr. Brownlee died at Hill Haven Nursing Home in Amarillo after a month's illness. He was born Jan. 1, 1886 in Wise County, Texas. He was married to the former Lillian Smith in Oklaunion, Texas, on Sept. 8, 1909.

A member of the First Baptist Church in Adrian, Mr. Brownlee had been a motel and service station operator.

Survivors include the wife, Lillian, of Glenrio, N.M.; two sons, Joe H. Brownlee of Glenrio and W.S. Brownlee of Borger; one daughter, Mrs. Bee Eubanks of Sunray; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchild.

Pallbeareers [sic] were John Brownlee, Fred Brownlee, Thomas Brownlee, Joel Brownlee, David Brownlee, Bill Gudgell, Larry Travis and Gene Stephens.
