Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Brownlee, 82 of Glenrio, were conducted Saturday afternoon in Rose Chapel of Gililand-Watson Funeral Home in Hereford by Bob Miller of Westcliff, Colo., and the Rev. Don Travis, United Methodist pastor of Higgins, Tex. Burial was in the West Park Cemetery in Hereford.

Mrs. Brownlee died Wednesday afternoon in an Amarillo hospital. She had been a Quay county resident since 1910, when she came from Oklahoma where she was born Aug. 23, 1891 and married Fred Brownlee Sept. 9, 1909. She was Lillian Lucinda Smith before her marriage. Her husband died in 1972.

Survivors are a daughter Ruth Eubank of Sunray, Tex., two sons Joe of Adrian and W.S. of Borger, Tex.; a sister Mrs. Tot Goen of Santa Fe; two brothers Carl Smith of Amarillo and Ike Smith of Tennessee, nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
