Graveside Services for Jean “Jeanie” Caison, 94, a Life-long Hereford resident well be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at West Park Cemetery with the Reverend Kevin S. Bushart, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Services have been entrusted to Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. The Family will receive guests at Parkside Chapel Monday, April 2, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. Mrs. Caison passed away Friday, March 30, 2018, in Hereford.

Jean France was born September 29, 1923 in Hereford to James Burl and Maude Ann Smith France. Jeanie attended Hereford Schools, graduating Hereford High School in 1941. She played Trombone in the High School Band. She received a Division One rating for a Trombone Solo. She was also named Football Queen during her High School career. She met G.D. Caison on Valentine’s Day in 1948. The married on July 16, 1948 in Hereford. Together, she and her husband owned and operated The Caison House Restaurant for around fifty years. Jeanie was a member of the Bayview Study Club, was an avid Bridge Player and was an excellent artist.

Those left to mourn her passing are one daughter Sandy Storey and husband Doug of Canyon, and one son, Rodney Caison, of Kyle, Texas, 3 grandchildren, Cassidy Bass, Parker Caison, and Eddie Trotter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Dee Ann Caison Trotter and one brother Jack France.
