HEREFORD — Lee Allen Carr, 66, of Hereford died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.

Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 411 E. Sixth St. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home of Hereford.

Mr. Carr was born July 30, 1946, in Dimmitt to Arnie and Gearldeen Watson Carr. He married his best friend and sweetheart, Shirley Caster Carr, on Dec. 7, 1963, in Hereford.

Survivors include two daughters, Robin Black of Corsicana and Teresa Carroll of Tyler; a son, Randy Carr of Hereford; two brothers, Johnny Carr and Jerry Carr of Hereford; and three grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Humane Society of Deaf Smith County, P.O. Box 2145, Hereford, TX 79045; or American Cancer Society, Memorial Donations, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Gililland-Watson Funeral Home Rose Chapel. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Carr was born Sept. 22, 1946, in Hereford. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Lee; a son, Randy Carr of San Saba; two daughters, Robin Black of Goldthwaite and Teresa Carroll of Tyler; three sisters, Sharon Edwards of Hereford, Vickie Ritcher of Amarillo and Jo Serrat of Phoenix; her father, Earl Caster of Canyon; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to American Red Cross.
