HEREFORD — Catherine Gonzales Celaya, 73, of Hereford died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014.
A celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church, 111 Ave. H, in Hereford with Ernest Cantu officiating. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home of Hereford.
Catherine was born March 6, 1941, in Abilene to Fred and Pilar Rivera Gonzales. Catherine married Frank Celaya Sr. on Oct. 6, 1958, in Hereford.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Frank Celaya Jr. of Amarillo and Nick Celaya of Hereford; two brothers, Raul and Jose Gonzales of Dublin; five sisters, Margaret Gamez, Sarah Griego, Yolanda Guerrero, Gloria Arsola and Janie Gonzales all of Hereford; five grand-children and six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Kingdon Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, c/o Ernest Cantu, 410 Paloma Lane, Hereford, TX 79045; or a charity of choice.
