Imogene "Granny" Pennington Driskill was born in Birdville, Texas to the Mr. and Mrs.Leroy and Bessie Ann Wells Pennington. She married at the age 16 to Hugh Earl Driskill in 1936. She was a Cook and worked very hard later in her life after her husband passed. It was her routine for many years to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week at her job.
Mrs.Driskill was a member of the Park Heights Church of Christ. She loved her family and loved visiting and comforting people. She always had a smile and a kind word for anyone she met. She was a very independent person. She would always say "The Lord Helps Those That Help Themselves"
