Last tribute to Mrs. Clara J. Daniel, 52 years old, was paid Tuesday afternoon at the First Baptist Church. Rev. W.E. Barnes officiated. Interment was in West Park Cemetery. Mrs. Daniel died Monday at her home here, after an illness of several years.
Survivors include the husband, Russel Daniel; one son, John Aubrey Daniel; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Manning and Mrs. Buddy Curtsinger, all of Hereford; a brother, A.H. Hood of Tahoka; a sister, Mrs. Edgar Franks of Gatesville, and her father, J.C. Hood of Gatesville; and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Daniel was born at Gatesville on April 12, 1888, and was married there in 1906. In the fall of 1907 Mr. and Mrs. Daniel moved to Deaf Smith County, and in 1921 moved to Hereford.
She was a member of the Baptist Church and of the Rebekah Lodge.
Pallbearers were Charlie Callaway, Clarence Strange, Lee Renfro, A.O. Thompson, Lee Conklin and Jerry Keenan.
