Joan Smith Euler, 63, who lived southwest of Hereford, died Wednesday.

Services at 11 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church will be conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Joe Wood. Burial, under direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home, will be in West Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Euler was a native of Hereford and was married to J.R. "Bud" Euler, on Aug. 23, 1947. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Smith, and a sister, Martha Jane Smith.

Survivors are her husband; a son, David Euler of Hereford; two daughters, Kay Barber of Raymore, Mo., and Lesley Woodard of Hereford; her mother, Lurlane Kendall of Hereford; two brothers, Ralph G. Smith of Dimmitt and Gerald Smith of Panhandle; and seven grandchildren.

The family has requessted that memorials be directed to the Hereford Area Crown of Texas Hospice, Suite 1068, 1901 Medi Park Dr., Amarillo, 79106.
